Other than trying to get a job I got to hang with my two best friends. I've known them both for a super long time. Ive read once a friendship hits the 7 year mark you're more than likely to be friends for life. Hell yeah we will be! These girls are my life. I don't know where I would be without them. I recently got to witness one of them get married. It was such a beautiful wedding. Like I said its seldom that I get to go back home but I wouldn't have missed this for the world. I remember when we would spend the night at each others houses and talk about marriage and love and everything in between. To go along with goes conversations was a tube of sugar cookie dough we'd eat with a spoon! Ah to be young again and have a super fast metabolism. It also might have helped that we danced every single day at school. We had dance class together and did the musical shows. I loved how our brains were so in tuned to the music and each other we could start moving the same way without telling each other what the choreography was.
My other best friend just got accepted to the California State University of Long Beach! I'm super proud of her. She's going to major in English. That girl could probably read an entire library in a month! It'll be so exciting to see how her future turns out. She and I had premium Disneyland passes and it was the best thing in the world to go whenever we wanted. You would think after going so many times in a year you'd get tired of it, but its just not true! We would always make it an adventure and there was always something new to see. It was especially great right around or after finals, we'd go after class have some fun and let off some steam!
I really miss them both. I can't wait to move back and get back into the swing of things and get to do way more with them than I do now. Even if its as simple as going over to their house to sit on the couch and stare at the tv. Just to have MY friends so close by will make me 100% happier.
So Nolan keeps the car and I take the train. It's a great way to travel. You just need to make sure you don't sleep too long or loose track of your stop. I take the train from Downtown San Diego to Fullerton where my dad usually picks me up! I always try to get a window seat so I can see the ocean and people watch. It's great to see little kids wave at the train as it goes by and watch people walk their dogs on the sand and spot families having a fun time in the water. I can usually get some awesome pictures too!
